On February 9, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo , Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands, met with Mr. Jan van Zanen, Mayor of The Hague.

Ambassador Shen welcomed Mayor van Zanen and the city of The Hague's active engagement in exchanges with China and expressed hope to further expand subnational cooperation between China and the Netherlands, contributing to the sound and steady development of bilateral relations.

Mayor van Zanen welcomed Ambassador Shen on his assumption of office and expressed his willingness to deepen cooperation between The Hague and China in areas including trade, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges.

The two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
