On August 16, H.E. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, visited Amstelveen to meet with the Chinese Women's Hockey Team, who are in the Netherlands for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup. He encouraged all team members to carry forward their fighting spirit, strive for excellent results, and win glory for the country. The Embassy will provide full support and assistance to the athletes during their stay in the Netherlands.

During the visit, Ambassador Shen had a brief exchange with Tayab Ikram, President of the International Hockey Federation, on promoting the development of hockey in China.
