On July 3rd, H.E. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, attended the annual meeting of the Association of Chinese Investment Enterprises in the Netherlands (ACIEN) and delivered a speech. He was accompanied by Counselor Jin Yuan in charge of economic cooperation from the Embassy.
In his speech, Ambassador Shen briefed the participants of the development of the China-Netherlands relations and encouraged the Chinese companies in the Netherlands to further build up core competitiveness, and take on the mission to promote the pragmatic economic and trade cooperation between China and the Netherlands.
Ambassador Shen hoped that the Chinese companies in the Netherlands will continue the business operation firmly in line with the laws, regulations and industry rules, fully fulfill social responsibilities, build positive images for the Chinese companies, and strengthen awareness of risk and safety.
Ambassador Shen encouraged the Chinese companies to make greater contribution to the development of bilateral relations between China and the Netherlands and the high-quality development of China.
Ambassador Shen reaffirmed that the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands will be committed to serving the people through diplomacy and protecting the lawful rights and interests of Chinese citizens and companies in the Netherlands.
During the annual meeting, ACIEN elected new board of council in accordance with its charter.
