On July 1, the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands held a symposium for overseas Chinese and students to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. H.E. Shen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands attended and delivered a speech. Representatives from the local Chinese community and Chinese students participated in the event.

Participants watched a themed short film 105 Years of Enduring Original Aspiration produced by Xinhua News Agency , reflecting the original aspiration and mission of the CPC over the past 105 years. Ambassador Shen Bo expounded on the essence of President Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered at the gathering celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Ambassador Shen Bo reviewed the glorious striving course of the CPC over more than a century, and encouraged overseas Chinese and students in the Netherlands to continue to contribute to the steady and sustained development of China-Netherlands relations.

Participants extended sincere congratulations on the 105th birthday of the CPC, and expressed their commitment to continuing to leverage their strength to deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and the Netherlands.
