On July 2, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with Willemijn Aerdts, Minister for the Digital Economy and Sovereignty. The two sides exchanged views on digital economy. Shen Bo introduced the key elements of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan concerning the advancement of Digital China, expressing the willingness to strengthen exchange and cooperation with the Netherlands in areas of trade and digital economy. Mr Shen elaborated China’s position on relevant issues.

Minister Aerdts spoke highly of China’s achievements in digital economy, noting that China is an important economic and trade partner of the Netherlands and expressed the willingness to further deepen pragmatic cooperation with China in the digital economy. 

The meeting was also attended by Counselor Jin Yuan and other representatives.
