The world today is undergoing profound changes and adjustments. Pursuing peace, seeking development and promoting cooperation have become the unstoppable trends of the times. Parties concerned should build the new security concept of mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality and collaboration, hold the idea of win-win cooperation and be committed to realizing peace and long-term stability in Northeast Asia.

He stressed that practices show the six-party talks are an effective mechanism to achieve denuclearization on the Peninsula and maintain peace and stability of the Peninsula and Northeast Asia. It is also a major platform for all parties concerned to improve relations through dialogue. To stick to, maintain and implement the September 19 Joint Statement is our unshirkable responsibility and obligation. Joint efforts should be made and positive measures be taken to push for the early, complete and balanced implementation of the Statement. So long as parties concerned firmly pursue the spirit of the Statement, respect each other, talk to each other sincerely and accommodate and understand each other, the six-party talks will move on and achieve results. China will continue to faithfully implement its commitment to the Statement, actively boost the six-party talks and always play a constructive role.
