On April 16, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with Minister Heleen Herbert. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral economic and trade relations and issues of mutual concern. Shen Bo briefed on China’s Two Sessions and the 15th Five-Year Plan, stating that China will continue to promote high-level opening-up, share opportunities with the Netherlands. It is hoped that both sides will respect each other’s core and major interests and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in a spirit of openness and pragmatism. Shen Bo elaborated China’s position on relevant issues.
Minister Herbert Spoke highly of China’s development achievements, noting that the Dutch side attaches great importance to its relations with China and is willing to strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties.
Counselor Jin Yuan of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands was also present at the meeting.
