On April 14, Ambassador Shen Bo attended an exchange event hosted by the Netherlands China Business Council and delivered a keynote speech to present the key messages of China’s Two Sessions and the 15th Five-Year Plan. More than 80 participants were present, including representatives from the Dutch government, business community, academia, and other friendly sectors.

In his speech, Ambassador Shen Bo described the 15th Five-Year Plan as a“catalog of opportunities” for the world, highlighting its potential to further expand pragmatic cooperation between China and the Netherlands. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to high-quality development and high-level opening-up, and encouraged Dutch companies to deepen their engagement in the Chinese market to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. 

Participants spoke highly of China’s economic and social progress and the forward-looking vision set out in the plan, expressing strong interest in sharing China’s opportunities and vast market potential. Ambassador Shen also engaged in cordial exchanges with attendees, took questions, and gave media interviews, contributing to a positive and engaging atmosphere throughout the event.
