On 25 March, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, visited the Senate of the Netherlands and met with President Dr. Mei Li Vos. The two sides exchanged views on China–Netherlands relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest. Shen Bo briefed on China’s Two Sessions and the 15th Five-Year Plan, stating that China will continue to promote high-quality development and high-standard opening up, work with the Netherlands to consolidate political mutual trust, uphold mutual respect and dialogue based on equality, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation. Both sides discussed strengthening communication and exchanges between the legislatures of two countries. Shen Bo elaborated on China’s positions on relevant issues. Minister Zhang Yi of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands was also present at the meeting.
