The Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands Holds a China-Netherlands Youth Exchange Dialogue

On February 2, the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands held a China-Netherlands Youth Exchange Dialogue, Ambassador Shen Bo attended the event and delivered a speech. Nearly 100 young representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Clingendael, The Netherlands China Association (VNC), as well as prominent universities and research institutions of the Netherlands, and Tsinghua University of China took part in the event.



In his speech, Ambassador Shen introduced China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and highlighted the significant contributions of Chinese youth to the country’s economic and social development. He encouraged young people to carry forward the long-standing friendship between the two countries and to inject new vitality into the development of bilateral relations.

Mr. Moquette, Special Envoy for Knowledge on China of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, emphasized that the Netherlands attaches great importance to its relationship with China and exchanges between the youth of the two countries are crucial for promoting bilateral relations.

Representatives of Chinese and the Netherlands youth engaged in lively discussions and exchanges on topics such as bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields, and future development. They expressed their willingness to contribute their energy and wisdom to China-Netherlands friendship and cooperation in various areas.



During the event, Ambassador Shen presented the English edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume V) to the youth representatives from the Netherlands.
