Ambassador Wu conveyed the warm greetings from Chairman Yu Zhengsheng of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC). He spoke highly of the current situation of development of Sino-Dutch relations, and appreciated very much the effort and contribution made by the Senate to promote the bilateral relations. President Ankie Broeker-Knol expressed her warm welcome to Ambassador Wu for his arrival and her sincere thanks to Chairman Yu Zhengsheng for the greetings. She totally agree with Ambassador Wu's words about bilateral relations.  

Both sides expressed their willing was to further promote the exchanges and cooperations between the CPPCC and the Senate, to deepen mutual understanding and friendship and to push the bilateral relations to a higher level. 

    The two sides also exchanged views on issues of common interests.
